On Monday, October 20th, BHS was well represented at the first-ever CAS-CIAC Empowerment Day. Over 900 students from middle and high schools across the stated gathered to learn, connect, and lead at Farmington High School. Everyone who attended the conference was greeted by BHS' band led by Mr. Thomas Murphy. The band pumped all of the students up for a great day focused on leadership, confidence, character and communication.
Members of both BHS' Young Women's Leadership Group and Men's Leadership Group attended the event which featured impactful panels - including Men of Color in Leadership and Women in Leadership - and inspiring breakout sessions. BHS students were able to network, build connections, and share their experiences.
