Our Bloomfield Public Schools Extension team is excited to offer a range of enjoyable and enriching activities. Registration will commence on April 22, 2025, and will close on May 23, 2025. Students in Bloomfield Schools who are entering grades 1-8 are eligible to participate. The cost is $125 per week, and please note that transportation will not be provided. For further information, please refer to the flyer.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, April 22, is School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! Join us in celebrating our amazing drivers! Our Metacomet School Bus Drivers will be presented with a “Thank You” card and an award pin. Good evening, Metacomet Families. As you are aware, Metacomet was closed on Friday, March 7 due to a power outage. The district has determined that our make up day will be on Wednesday, May 21. This will be an early release day and students will be dismissed at 1:25 pm. Thank you!

Good evening, Metacomet Families. I am calling to let you know that our SBAC State Testing will begin on Monday, April 28 and end on Friday, May 23. Our students will be tested in reading and math for about 30 minutes for three or four times a week. Please make sure you child eats well and get plenty of sleep to be ready for testing. Thank you!
