Touchdowns for the Warhawks were scored by: Marlon Britton (3), Zion Banton (1), Zakyi Kimber (1), and Romar Heron (1). The boys will take on Northwest Catholic this coming Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Northwest Catholic High School.

Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Soccer Team who tied New Britain last night, 1-1! The goal for the Warhawks was scored by Senior, Indya Norman!

Tonight at halftime the Girls and Boys Championship Track Teams will be receiving their rings for their 2024 Championship Season! Come out and support the Football Team as they take on East Catholic and cheer on the Track Teams. Games starts at 6:30 p.m.

Come out for Halloween Movie Night on October 25th at 7:00 p.m. and support the Class of 2025! Movie Night is $5 and cash will only be accepted. Food and drinks will be available for sale!


Don't forget Pajama Day is tomorrow at BHS to support Breast Cancer Awareness! All proceeds will go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Students please bring $1 to be collected during your 1st period class.


PSAT/SAT Day is approaching fast! All BHS students will be testing on October 23, 2024. All students will take their regular bus to school on that day. Students will be dropped off following the late bus routes. Students will be released from school following testing. Most students will be released at 11:00 a.m. on this day. Students needing accommodations will be released at 12:00 or 2:00 p.m. All tests are computer based and students will need their school issued laptop to test. Please make sure your students device is charged and ready to go on test day.


Come out and support your BHS Warhawks as they take on the East Catholic Eagles this Friday, October 18th at 6:30 p.m. at home! This game has been chosen as CIAC's Game of the Week and will be streamed live on the NFHS Network and WELI Radio with a play-by-play from George "The Coach" Demaio. Picture Day at BHS is October 22, 2024. All students will have their picture taken during their English classes. A student must have their picture taken in order to receive an updated Student ID. Picture Retake Day will take place on December 3, 2024, should your child be absent from school on Picture Day.

On Monday, October 7th, BHS' Class Act Council, a group of student-athletes at BHS who promote sportsmanship and help to develop and implement different initiatives at the high school, attended the 18th Annual CIAC Sportsmanship Conference at the Aqua Turf. The conference included inspiring stories from current and past athletes, insightful panels, and a keynote address by UCONN legend Kara Wolters. At the conference, BHS' Class Act Council was awarded the Michaels Jewelers Achievement Cup for the 2023-2024 school year, this is the sixth time that the athletic department has received this honor. The Michaels Cup is awarded to schools who create positive environments for their student-athletes through a high standard of sportsmanship. BHS was also awarded the Fred Balsamo Sportsmanship Award at the event. The Fred Balsamo Sportsmanship Award funds sportsmanship initiatives for CIAC member schools based on how well applicants support tolerance, acceptance and respect. Congratulations to our Class Act Council and the entire Athletic Department!

BHS' AP Environmental Science class is taking advantage of the fall weather by conducting biodiversity studies around the school campus.


On Thursday, October 4th, a group of BHS Juniors and Seniors took a field trip to the University of Connecticut. Students were given the opportunity to tour the campus, meet with current students, learn about prestigious academic programs, and explore student engagement opportunities. There may be some future Huskies in this picture!
