On Monday, October 27th, the School to Career Office hosted a Career Cluster Workshop for Bloomfield High School. Led by Eastern Connecticut State University professors Clifford Marrett and Ashon Avent, scholars dove into the 16 national career clusters, uncovering real career pathways aligned to their passions and strengths. These experiences help students identify who they are, what they love, and how their talents can shape their futures.
On Saturday, December 6th the Town of Bloomfield will be hosting a Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony to welcome in the Holiday Season! The holiday parade will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will feature local fire departments and community organizations.

Congratulations to Nia Williams and Iyanla Dorman who auditioned and were accepted into the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) 2026 Eastern Division Honor Choruses! Freshman, Nia Williams, is accepted into the 2026 Eastern Honors Choirs - SATB Contemporary A Capella Fusion for grades 9-12 and Junior, Iyanla Dorman, has been accepted to be a member of the 2026 Eastern Division Honor Choir 9-12. These students competed against students from 11 states: Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland/Washington DC, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont. They were also judged by a panel of national judges. Congratulations, Nia and Iyanla! We are all so very proud!

Congratulations to the Varsity Football Team who defeated East Catholic on Saturday, 44-8. This was the fifth win in a row for the team who is now 5-2 this season. Quarterback Cameron White rushed for two scores and threw for one touchdown and Running Back Romar Heron rushed for two touchdowns in the win. The Warhawks will take on Lewis Mills at 12:00 p.m. this Saturday at Lewis Mills.
The New York HBCU College Fair will be held on November 15th at Denny Farrell Riverbank State Park. The event is from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is free. This is a great event for anyone interested in attending an HBCU.

Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Cross Country Team who competed in the Class 'SS' Championship this past Saturday at Wickham Park! The top finisher for the boys was Senior Vaughn Glanville.
BHS' Fall Pep Rally Was Amazing! The Class of 2026 and Student Activities Advisor Ms. Watkins did an amazing job of getting everyone involved and bringing out the school spirit. Thank you to everyone that participated!

On Friday Night, BHS' Varsity Football defeated the undefeated Northwest Catholic , 16-14 in our Homecoming Game! Touchdowns for the Warhawks were scored by Zion Banton and Lamont Applewhite. With 50 second left in the game, Dakhai Powell blocked a field goal that would have won the game for Northwest Catholic, leading the Warhawks to victory! Congratulations, Warhawks! The Warhawks are back in action this Saturday vs East Catholic!

All Warhawks fans, make sure you come out tonight to support the Warhawks as they take on Northwest Catholic at 6:30 p.m. at home for BHS' Homecoming Game! Tickets for the game can be purchased on Go Fan and are $6.
Tickets are still on sale for tomorrow's Homecoming Dance! Tickets are $10 and can be purchased during all three lunch waves. The dance is from 7-10 p.m. and the theme is Masquerade. We hope to see all of our students there, dressed to impress!
