This week BHS students have been participating in Read Across America as part of the districts Literacy Week Celebration. Students have been reading all over Bloomfield: Metacomet Elementary School, Laurel Literacy Academy, Duncaster and Seabury. Congratulations to BHS' Girls Track Team on their performances at the New England Championship this past Saturday. The 4x2 Relay of Jahniya Barclay, Sianna Lloyd, Nacquelia Fletcher, and Saphyr Brown placed 1st. The 4x4 Relay of Nacquelia Fletcher, Kiylah Williams, Indya Norman, and Jahniya Barclay placed 6th. Saphyr Brown placed 4th in the Long Jump.

This is just a reminder that Parent Teacher Conferences will be held this week on March 6-7, 2024. There will be afternoon sessions on both days from 12:45 - 2:50 p.m. and an evening session on March 7th from 5:00-7:30 p.m. Instructions on how to register for conferences via My Conference Time can be found by clicking on the link below. This weeklong celebration of literacy is to encourage hundreds of middle school students at Carmen Arace to pick up a book and read. BHS student-athletes answered questions from students and talked about their high school experiences.
