Town's Trunk or Treat event Friday, Oct. 27
Last public meeting last night for two stalwarts on the Bloomfield Board of Education. Donald Harris is retiring after 12 years as chairman. Robert Ike is retiring after 16 consecutive years on the board, 20 overall.
Both were given chairs last night in appreciation of their service.
Congratulations to the Boys and Girls Varsity Cross Country Seniors who were honored yesterday for senior night! Seniors for the team are: Remiel Kirlew, Jaden White, Aisha Williams, Jayden Smith, Amir Wilson and Ja'Mari Manson.
Come out and support the Girls Varsity Volleyball Team tonight at home at 5:00 p.m. as they take on Aerospace High School!

On Saturday, BHS held its Masquerade themed Homecoming Dance. Congratulations to BHS' Homecoming King and Queen, Jayden Johnson and Sianna Lloyd!
Students from Bloomfield High and Global Experience Magnet School participated in a College and Career Fair at the BHS gym. Students were able to practice their social skills in talking to college and business representatives from New England about potential opportunities for their future.

The BHS Culinary Department has been busy preparing Cookies for The Troops! The first batch of 1200 cookies went out on October 8th. Students are currently working on their next holiday batch, to be shipped out the first week of November. If you would like to make a donation to the troops, donations of hard candies, paperback books, socks, chap stick, magazines, decks of cards, letters and cards will be collected by the Culinary Department through the end of October.

BHS defeated Northwest Catholic 40-0 in last night's Homecoming game.
Last night at the Homecoming Football Game, BHS' Boys Outdoor Track Team received their rings for winning the Class 'S' State Championship during the Outdoor Track Season. The boys scored 115 points in the Class 'S' Championship to outscore Derby with 71 points.
