Students in Mr. Othman's math classes working together to solve equations
This Wednesday, September 20th, all BHS students will begin Leadership Lab, a 30 minute, once a month commitment to leadership. BHS is proud to have partnered with the Leader in Me Leadership School in committing all of our students in taking an active role in being a leader. School will dismiss at 1:16 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month to accommodate the extra 30 minutes for this program.

Come out and support the Boys Varsity Soccer Team today at 3:45 p.m. as they take on Maloney High School. The boys are currently 2-1 this season!
Congratulations to Senior, Davion Kerr who was named Player of the Game for the 2nd week in a row by Gametime CT. Davion scored three touchdowns in the game against South Windsor. He also had 124 all purpose yards from two receptions and five carries. 🏈

Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Football Team for their win over South Windsor last night, 50-15. Touchdowns for the Warhawks were scored by: Davien Kerr (3), Davion Kerr (2), Zakyi Kimber (1), and Breydon Evans (1).
Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Cross Country Team for their 27-28 win over New Britain yesterday. Top finishers for the girls were: Jahniya Barclay, Kiylah Williams and Soleigh Dixon.
Congratulations to the Varsity Boys Soccer Team for their 4-3 win over Hartford Public yesterday. Jahmeen Harrigan scored all four of the goals for the Warhawks, which in soccer terms is a goalscoring haul.

Sept. 15 to October 15. This year's theme is Prosperity, Power and Progress. Our district values diversity, inclusion and respect for all cultures. Students of Latino heritage are an emerging population in our schools.

Congratulation to the BHS Athletic Department on being awarded the CIAC - Fred Balsamo Award for Sportsmanship. The Athletic Department will receive a plaque commemorating this honor at the CIAC Sportsmanship Conference on October 3rd. Important Reminder: All enrolled students in district will receive a free healthy breakfast and lunch at school during the 2023-24 year. Children will not have to pay a fee or submit an application. This free-meals program is part of a national program, known as the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP).
